Gwadar Hybrid Microgrid

The Gwadar Hybrid Microgrid is a flagship distributed energy project combining 8.5 MW solar PV with 4 MW / 16 MWh battery energy storage. Designed for resilience, the system serves the Gwadar port authority, fishing communities, and critical telecom infrastructure. Key components: (1) Centauri CSM-R solar modules, (2) 4 MW / 16 MWh Li-ion BESS, (3) AI-powered energy management system for dispatch optimization, (4) Diesel generator backup for 99.99% reliability. The project reduces diesel consumption by 85% and delivers power at $0.09/kWh – 40% cheaper than incumbent diesel generation.
